ARCOSA Lightweight is searching for a Production/Distribution Lead for our Streetman, TX plant. In this role you will support a positive safety culture by directing the production efforts within a 24/7 Lightweight aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. You will specifically manage employees in the finishing plant to achieve production goals. Specific areas of focus include maximizing utilization of personnel and equipment while effectively managing cost to maintain/improve site productivity.
What you will do:
* Lead and comply with all company and industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations * Coordinate all production efforts of the crushing, screening, and load-out areas with an emphasis of producing quality finished product * Inspect and observe the screening systems to include checking equipment, motors, material handling, gradation of stockpiles and housekeeping * Maintain contact with dispatch and quality control to ensure enough material is on hand to satisfy customer demands * Assist or participate in the repairs, dismantling, installation, or change in equipment, screens, machines, motors, or physical structures * Communicate with all levels of management on operating conditions and problems * Maintain records and generate regular reports * Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
What you will need:
* High School Diploma or GED * Minimum of 5 years' experience in an ESC plant or similar operation * Minimum of 2 years' of leadership or supervisory experience * Ability to communicate with all levels of management, verbally and electronically * Strong mental alertness and detailed knowledge of screening, crushing, and load-out processes * Ability to quickly react to changes and adjustments needed to meet customer demands * Ability to train, develop and lead employees as well as maintain good working relations with all plant personnel * Basic computer skills, knowledge of JWS a plus * Strong safety orientation and in-depth understanding of MSHA regulations
