Job Requirements Must have 10 years technician experience working directly with RVs. Must have your own hand and shop tools. Must have a valid driver s license. Must be at work by 8:20am, ready to work by 8:30am (Monday-Friday). Must be able to lift up to 50lbs; or more with assistive devices. Must be able to handle environmental conditions such as heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness. Must be able to handle prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling and bending. Must be comfortable with heights and working on roof tops, exceeding 12 feet high. RV Technician Duties include, but not limited to: Perform electrical diagnostics and repair of RV electrical systems and components. Perform tear down and restructure of exterior and interior RV walls, floors and ceilings. Perform appliance diagnostics, repair and installations. Perform diagnostics, service and repair on LP gas appliances. Perform refrigeration diagnostics, repair and installations. Perform plumbing diagnostics, repair and installations. Perform a/c and furnace diagnostics, repair, modifications and installations. Perform roof repair, replacement and maintenance. Perform awning diagnostic, repair and installation. Perform diagnostics, repair, service and installation of hydraulic leveling and slide out systems. Perform installation of RV braking systems hitches, tow bars and other related accessories. Track all parts and materials used in repairing, replacing or servicing all work that you perform. Properly label and package all RGA parts and return to parts department. Properly dispose of all non-working parts at the end of your shift each day. Documentation of Cause/Correction in IDS, required on all work that you perform. Communicate with service consultant immediately after diagnostics and after all work is complete. Maintain a clean and safe work environment according to OSHA standard. Perform any and all other duties assigned or requested by the service consultants and management team. Skills & Qualifications We prefer an RV Technician with some experience OR a person with a mechanical aptitude and some related experience in one or more of the following fields. - Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Carpentry, Automotive, Trailer Repair, Heavy Equipment Repair or General Maintenance. Attention to detail. Self-Motivated. Pride in your workmanship. Willingness to learn. Must be able to work well with others. Must be able to adapt to change ex: processes, products or policies. Must provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
