Texas First Rentals Position Title: Used Equipment Sales Representative

Job Summary: The Used Equipment Sales Representative locates, develops, and maintains new prospects and existing customers for the purpose of creating machines transactions.

The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices on a daily basis: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2)Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

Maintains customer relationships in order to achieve sales revenue goals

Manages sold machines paperwork and documentation through RentalMan and Salesforce

Sources and grows sales with new business opportunities and develops new customers

Develop relationships with Holts Used Equipment Department, Brokers, Wholesalers, and Auction Houses

Demonstrates equipment and vehicles to customers

Travels to and from customer locations

Assists in locating used machines for sales and rentals

Requires regular and punctual employee attendance

Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards

Performs other duties as assigned

50+ hours a week, to include late evenings, weekends, and holidays

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of CAT products and product support services and programs

Knowledge of inventory management and process

Knowledge of safe work policies, procedures, and practices

Knowledge of sales techniques, financial, credit, and accounting principles

Effective influencing skills which include motivating and developing new and existing customers

Excellent selling, negotiating, and closing skills in order to build long-term business relationships

Proficient with MS Office Suite and other computer software

Time management skills in order to develop plans for structuring self and others to attain maximum productivity by establishing deadlines, milestones, tasks, resources, and achievement of goals and work results

Communication skills and interpersonal skills to establish working relationships with multiple departments of the organization and customers in order to maintain and develop relationships

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to apply logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, approaches, and prevention of problems

Attention to detail and being thorough in completing the work task

Ability to perform mathematical computations quickly and accurately

Ability to communicate and understand both verbally and in writing

Ability to work with individuals and groups

Two or more years of experience required

Bachelors Degree in Business or related field preferred

Up to 60% travel is to be expected
