Infosys Consulting is currently seeking a Data Scientist (Specialist in Data Analytics) for its AI Practice at a Senior Principal Level.

Position Overview
Specialist in Data Analytics with hands on experience on client projects. Hands on development, implementing and solving complex analytical, machine learning problems. Ability to learn new methods and techniques. Maintain intellectual edge with advancements in Deep Learning, AI and Analytics

Responsibilities
Deliver engagements to leverage AI/ML and Advanced Analytics
Collaborate with internal practices across sectors to identify business use cases and develop solutions in driving impact through data science and analytics
Design and build scalable machine learning models; build and deploy predictive models
Manage and execute the successful delivery of the algorithms, statistical models and reporting tools to meet business needs

KPIs
Utilization Target: 80%
Deliver engagements to delight customers

Basic Qualification
Education: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
9 years professional work experience as a data scientist or on advanced analytics / statistics projects
Must be open to extensive weekly travel (Monday - Thursday) with remote work on Fridays.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Neural Networks CNN, RNN, LSTM, GRU
  • Extensive experience analyzing and modeling structured data using machine learning / predictive modeling (Regression, Clustering, Time Series, Survival Analysis etc.)
  • Expert knowledge of: Python data science ecosystem: Pandas, Numpy/Scipy; coding best practices (git/stash usage); R; Java; writing production and modular code
  • Technical advocate, communicating complex analytical and technical concepts to a business audience
  • Ability to engage and convince business and technical stakeholders
  • Practitioner level hands on knowledge of deep learning models and frameworks.
  • Design, build and implement Deep Learning models for customers.
  • Evaluate and differentiate techniques, tools and approaches to Deep Learning problems
  • Thought leader in Deep learning research and applications, and sharing expertise at industry conferences
  • Supporting asset development, including providing field experience back to product development teams
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team in Data Science techniques
  • Relevant and substantive operating or functional experience
  • Demonstrate a flexible, creative approach; Can quickly assess, propose, and adapt solutions unique to each situation
  • Demonstrate high energy coupled with a positive, decisive get the job done attitude
  • Entrepreneurial, flexible, nimble, hands on, with a very strong grasp of the details and a sense of urgency; take a proactive approach and able to lead resolution to very complex high risk situations
  • Confident in her/ his own abilities and talent but without arrogance or pretense; demonstrate a team orientation and a collegial / collaborative mindset
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills

  • Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
