Position Summary and Responsibilities
Entry Level Carpenter Support position includes constructing and repairing structural assets and equipment in the facility and lab space.
Work with power saws, and electric tools
Ability to read a tape measure
Physically able to move equipment and materialsup-wardsbetween 25-50 lbs.
Builds, repairs and installs counters, cabinets, benches, partitions, floors, doors, building framework and trim, including painting
Provide support to Mechanical Technician
Maintain a secure and safe work environment
-High School diploma or GED and/or 2 years of experience in a learning capacity assisting and performing carpentry work under the direction of an experienced carpenter.
-Some experience working with power saws and hand/power tools
-High standard of integrity and professionalism
-Working knowledge of computers, including Internet Explorer, Outlook
